Spitzerova vila, Art Deco villa in Janovice, Czech Republic
The Spitzerova vila features three distinct wings, combining architectural elements from Cubism, Futurism, and Art Nouveau in its structural design.
Julius Spitzer commissioned the construction of this villa between 1929 and 1930 through Rudolf Schubert's company, following designs by Viennese architect Gustav Schöler.
The interior decorations were crafted by architect František Kysela, while Simon Novák from Přívoz created the elaborate stucco ornamentation throughout the residence.
The ground floor contains a caretaker's apartment and utility areas, while the first floor houses the owners' suite with bedrooms and an office space.
The villa retains its original furniture and equipment, making it one of the most complete preserved buildings of its type in the Czech Republic.
