The Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary features traditional ecclesiastical architecture with a prominent bell tower and ornate exterior details.
The current structure, completed and consecrated in 1774, stands on the foundations of an earlier Gothic or Romanesque church.
Since 2019, the church has transitioned from Roman Catholic to Greek Orthodox administration, serving the Prague eparchy community.
The church remains open for religious services and maintains regular visiting hours, with access via Prague's public transportation system.
The building underwent a name modification in 1948, changing from Church of the Name of the Virgin Mary to its current designation.
