Pamětní kámen, also called Šurynka, is a rectangular stone stele about 100 × 40 × 18 cm at the edge of the forest behind Padochov, on the northern side of the village toward Václavka. Its upper part takes the form of a wavy gable, and a single-armed cross is carved above an inscription on the face of the slab. The stone was made by Hynek Brázda.

The memorial stone, known as Šurynka, recalls the 1919 robbery-murder of Marie Šurá, a widow travelling to Ivančice to buy goods for her tobacconist's shop, killed by her son Jan. The death register and Lidové noviny of 1 April 1919 give the date as 31 March 1919; the killer was detained and later sentenced. The stone was made by Hynek Brázda.
