Permonium, Zábavní park
Permonium is an amusement park in Oslavany, in the Brno-Country District of the Czech Republic. It is built around a mining theme and features old mine tunnels, a mine lake, a rope climbing area, and what is described as the largest above-ground maze in the country.
Permonium was built on a former industrial site in Oslavany, an area with a real mining past, and the park reuses some of the existing structures as part of its attractions. The Kukla mining tower is one of them, and it now serves as the starting point for a long mine slide.
The name Permonium comes from the Czech word permon, a gnome-like creature from local mining folklore, and this theme runs through the whole park. Visitors notice it in the characters, the game challenges, and the story that ties each route together.
The park is open during the warmer months, so checking the schedule before visiting is a good idea. Comfortable shoes and clothes that can get dirty are worth wearing, since some areas involve climbing, tunnels, and uneven ground.
Every visitor gets exactly 3 attempts to complete the Kukla mine slide challenge and win a treasure at the end. The slide starts at the top of the mining tower, so the reward only comes after the climb.
