Church of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary, church building in Staré Oldřůvky, Czech Republic

The Church of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary is a single-nave, oriented masonry building with a recessed three-sided presbytery and a tower projecting from the west facade. It has a saddle roof covered with fired clay tiles, a hranol tower topped by an onion dome with a lantern and finial, and a rococo interior with a barrel vault and lunettes.

The parish church in Staré Oldřůvky was first mentioned in writing in 1510. Spiritual administration lapsed during the Thirty Years' War in 1633 and was restored as a local curia in 1784. The present Church of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary was built in 1768–1770 and repaired in 1859; the Baroque parish house followed in 1776 and was repaired in 1860.

The church is the parish church of Staré Oldřůvky, and its dedication to the Visitation of the Virgin Mary is celebrated on 2 July. Parish administration lapsed during the Thirty Years' War in 1633 and was restored only in 1784 as a local curia. The baroque parish house next to the church was built in 1776.

The church and its baroque parish house stand together within a stone boundary wall of rough masonry capped with large slate slabs, 1.5 to 2 m high, with entrance gates on the northwest and southeast sides. A small chapel abuts the outer face of the wall at the church's east end. The grounds lie in Staré Oldřůvky, part of Budišov nad Budišovkou.

On the exterior wall below the oval window of the presbytery is a stone plaque inscribed "I.W.C.P. / A 1768", marking the year the church was built. The churchyard is enclosed by a rubble-stone wall 1.5 to 2 m high, capped with large slate slabs, with a small chapel built into the wall on the axis of the presbytery.
