The Church of Saint Nicholas in Úboč is an early Gothic single-nave church from the 13th century, with a prismatic tower at its west end. The nave has a barrel vault with lunettes, and the polygonal presbytery has a ribbed cross vault, pointed windows with original tracery, a Gothic wall tabernacle in the north wall and a sedile in the south wall. A square Chapel of Saint Anne adjoins the south side.

The core of the church is Early Gothic from the 13th century: the nave masonry and the lower part of the square tower survive from that phase. In the second half of the 14th century a new presbytery and sacristy were added. A Baroque remodelling in 1763 brought the Chapel of St Anne with its oratory and stair annex, and probably the vaulting of the nave; the tower was raised by one storey in 1852. Roof and façade were repaired in 1994.

The church is dedicated to Saint Nicholas, and its dedication likely dates from the 13th-century building. The Baroque phase of 1763 added the Chapel of Saint Anne with an oratory, still attached to the south side of the nave. Opposite the church stands the parish house with a mansard roof, built in 1728.

The church is best reached on foot and sits in the village center where it is easy to locate. Visitors should wear appropriate clothing and behave respectfully, especially when services or religious events are taking place.

The parish garden next to the church preserves much of the earthworks of a fortress founded around 1300, and the baroque parish house opposite dates from 1728. The tower gained its top storey in 1852; the roof and facade were repaired in 1994.
