Nábřeží Kapitána Jaroše, Riverfront street in Holešovice, Czech Republic.
Nábřeží Kapitána Jaroše is a riverside street along the left bank of the Vltava River, linking two major bridges through the Holešovice district. The route runs between Štefánikův Bridge and the Negrelli Viaduct, offering direct access to the riverfront.
The area was originally the center of Bubny village before being absorbed into Holešovice. The street has undergone multiple name changes since 1896 as the district developed.
The riverfront features a memorial artwork called 'Bike to Heaven' by Krystof Kintera, honoring cyclists who died in Prague's traffic. This piece has become a place where locals and visitors reflect on road safety.
The street underwent substantial renovation in 2012 to improve safety at intersections. Additional updates followed in 2014, making it more accessible for pedestrians and cyclists.
The street features a monumental building of the former Workers' Accident Insurance Company for Bohemia, now used by the General Financial Directorate. This structure reflects the industrial architecture from Prague's earlier economic period.
