Galérie Benedikta Rejta

The Galérie Benedikta Rejta occupies a renovated former brewery building with multiple exhibition spaces showing contemporary and geometric abstract works. The venue provides spacious areas for different art forms and rotating exhibitions.

The gallery was founded in 1966, initially building on collections from the District Museum. During the 1970s and 1980s, it grew substantially and became an important arts center for the region.

An entire room is dedicated to Emil Filla, a notable Czech painter whose works originally came from Peruc Castle. This collection shows the range of an artistic career that spans different periods and styles.
