Galérie Benedikta Rejta, Art gallery in Louny, Czech Republic
The Galérie Benedikta Rejta occupies a modernized former brewery building, featuring multiple exhibition spaces dedicated to contemporary and geometric abstract art.
Established in 1966 as a cultural institution, the gallery emerged from the District Museum's collection and underwent significant expansion during the 1970s and 1980s.
The gallery maintains a collection of over 18,000 artworks, including 3,000 drawings and 6,500 prints, focusing on Czech art from the second half of the 20th century.
Located at Pivovarská Street, the gallery provides educational programs, workshops for schools, and regular public lectures on various art-related subjects.
The Emil Filla Memorial Room contains an extensive collection of works by this notable Czech painter, transferred from Peruc Castle in 1966.
