St. Nicolas Church in Louny, Gothic church in Louny, Czech Republic.
The church features three naves with external support systems, round arches, and pyramid-shaped turrets rising to a height of 60 meters.
After a devastating fire in 1517, royal architect Benedikt Rejt reconstructed the church, completing the new structure in 1538 using gaize and slate materials.
The interior contains a carved main altar by sculptor Jeroným Kohl, divided into three sections with large screw-shaped columns and religious paintings.
Visitors can climb approximately 180 stairs to reach the belfry and gallery, which provides views across the medieval center of Louny.
The church tower houses two bells measuring 60 centimeters in height and remains the only visible part of the original medieval structure.
