Teplotechna, Brutalist office building in New Town, Czech Republic
Teplotechna is a six-story brutalist office building in Prague's New Town with a distinctive blue enamel metal facade and green windows. Large bay windows are supported by exposed concrete braces that form an integral part of the building's visual design.
The building was designed and completed in 1984 by architect Věra Machoninová. It was constructed as part of an urban development effort in Prague's New Town during that era.
The sculptural reliefs adorning the concrete supports were created by artist Miloslav Chlupáč, giving the building an unexpected artistic dimension. You can see how these decorative elements blend practical structure with creative expression.
