Pohádka, also known as Christlhof, is a simple abandoned dwelling in the Šumava foothills within the village of Čachrov. Located at about 795 meters in elevation, only one of the original three buildings remains visible, with collapsed roofs, cracked walls, and vegetation overtaking the structures.
The homestead was founded in the 16th century and occupied by the German Pangerl family for generations as a farming household. After the Second World War, the family was dispossessed and the house was abandoned in 1947, beginning its long decline.
