Rozhledna na skokanském můstku Churáňov, Observation tower on ski jumping hill in Stachy, Czech Republic
The 32-meter-high viewing platform sits atop a wooden ski jumping ramp, offering views of the Sumava mountains at 1080 meters above sea level.
The ski jumping hill was constructed in 1978 and underwent extensive renovation in 2014, transforming the structure into an observation tower that opened in 2015.
The tower stands as a reminder of the winter sports heritage in the region, where ski jumping competitions brought communities together until 1996.
Visitors can access the tower via the Zadov-Kobyla cable car or follow the blue-marked hiking trail, with admission prices ranging from 70 to 200 Czech crowns.
The southwestern wall features a climbing surface, combining the original sports structure with new recreational opportunities for modern visitors.
