Insurance Building, Government building at Capitol Campus in Olympia, United States.
The Insurance Building features four floors with colonnades along the north and south ends, constructed with local Wilkeson sandstone from Pierce County.
Completed in 1921 as the second structure on Capitol Campus, the Insurance Building underwent restoration after damage from the 1949 Olympia earthquake.
The architectural design incorporates American Neoclassicism elements, with an unembellished frieze and pediment supported by colonnades along its rectangular structure.
Located at 302 Sid Snyder Ave SW, the building houses the Washington State Office of Financial Management, operating weekdays from 8 AM to 5 PM.
The original campus plan included an identical twin building on the opposite side of the Legislative Building, but this mirror structure remained unrealized.
