SoFi Stadium, Sports stadium in Inglewood, United States
SoFi Stadium is a professional football facility in Inglewood, California, with seating for roughly 70,000 spectators and a transparent roof structure made of clear ETFE panels spanning both the playing surface and the adjacent zones. The complex contains 35 separate event spaces and multiple dining areas spread across several levels.
Construction started in 2016 on the former grounds of Hollywood Park Racetrack and the facility officially opened in September 2020. The project emerged as part of a broader urban redevelopment effort in southern Los Angeles.
The facility serves as home field for both of the city's professional football teams, the Rams and the Chargers, drawing tens of thousands of fans on game days. Beyond regular season matches, it hosts concerts and large gatherings where crowds fill the surrounding plazas and walkways.
The facility sits roughly three miles from Los Angeles International Airport and is accessible via several major approach roads. Visitors will find numerous food outlets distributed across different tiers on event days.
An oval double-sided video board hangs above the field, known as the Infinity Screen by Samsung, visible from nearly every seat in the house. The installation weighs several hundred tons and displays replays and graphics from multiple angles during events.
