Brookdale Library

Brookdale Library is a public library branch in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, occupying a large space divided into distinct functional areas. The building contains numerous computer workstations and organizes its collections through information neighborhoods that integrate print materials with digital technology zones.

The library opened in 1981 as part of Hennepin County's expansion efforts. It replaced a previous mobile bookmobile service that had served the community.

The library maintains collections in Hmong, Laotian, Russian, Somali, Spanish, and Vietnamese, serving the diverse communities within Brooklyn Center. These multilingual resources ensure that residents from different backgrounds can access materials in their preferred languages.
