Railroad House is a 1+1⁄2-story, three-bay, board-and-batten Gothic Revival frame cottage in Sanford, North Carolina. Its gable roof has wide overhanging eaves with rafter brackets, and it has a one-story rear wing, a single central interior chimney in the main block and an exterior end chimney at the rear of the wing.

The Raleigh and Augusta Air Line Railroad built the house in 1872 for its depot agent in Sanford. In October 1962 it was moved across the street to its present site. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973 and now lies within the Downtown Sanford Historic District.

The house was built for the depot agent of the Raleigh and Augusta Air Line Railroad, so its first resident lived beside the tracks he worked. The Railroad House Historical Association now runs it as a museum, and the building sits within the Downtown Sanford Historic District.
