The Texas Museum of Science and Technology displays collections of fossils, dinosaur bones, and scientific exhibits across 30,000 square feet of exhibition space.
The institution began as Friends of the Austin Planetarium, then transformed into Austin Planetarium before establishing as TXMOST in March 2015.
The museum presented traveling exhibitions including Leonardo da Vinci's machines and artifacts from Tutankhamun's tomb to educate visitors about global scientific achievements.
The facility welcomes visitors from Tuesday through Saturday between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM, and on Sundays from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
The museum introduced the first planetarium in the Austin area, featuring a 33-foot digital dome for astronomical presentations.
