Echo Lake, also called Crotched Pond, is a lake of about 1.9 square miles in the towns of Fayette, Mount Vernon and Readfield, Maine, in the Winthrop Lakes Region. It reaches a depth of 117 feet, has rocky shores, and holds a naturally reproducing lake trout population. Echo Island and Turtle Island lie in the water, and Camp Winnebago, a boys' summer camp, stands on the southwest shore.
