World Fellowship Center, Social justice retreat center in Albany, New Hampshire, US.
The World Fellowship Center is a retreat facility on 455 acres at the edge of White Mountain National Forest with multiple lodges, cabins, and meeting spaces. Various types of buildings spread across the property accommodate different group sizes and needs.
The facility was founded in 1941 by Charles and Eugenia Weller as a space for peace advocacy during World War II. It was built on the former Draper Estate and has maintained its purpose of fostering dialogue since then.
The center hosts regular discussions and workshops on social issues, environmentalism, and community topics that visitors experience together. These gatherings shape daily life here and create space for open conversations among people from different backgrounds.
The facility opens lodging from June to September with choices ranging from lodge rooms to cabins and camping options. Meals are provided on site and visitors can explore the property on walking trails.
A lake called Whitton Pond is central to the property where guests swim, paddle canoes, fish, and pick blueberries in summer. These water-based activities blend outdoor recreation with the social focus of the center.
