Union Cemetery-Beatty Park is a burial ground and public park in Steubenville, Ohio, spanning nearly 200 acres with monuments, mature trees, and maintained pathways. The grounds feature headstones of varying sizes and styles that together document the history of multiple generations of residents.

The cemetery was established in 1854 after the town's older burial grounds became too crowded or surrounded by buildings. The site grew gradually from its initial size of about 48 acres to its current span of nearly 200 acres as the city expanded and demand increased.

Union Cemetery holds the graves of several 19th-century politicians who shaped Steubenville and Ohio, including Bezaleel Wells, the city's founder, and Benjamin Tappan, a U.S. senator and federal judge. The Wells and Tappan markers are the ones local historians point out first. The cemetery was incorporated as a non-profit in 1854, and its records and family plots are still consulted by descendants researching these figures.

The entrance is at 1720 W. Market St. at Lincoln Ave. on Steubenville's west side; the grounds are open to the public. The burial sections and the parkland are separate parts of the same site, so expect to cross open lawn between the graves and the park area.

Union Cemetery-Beatty Park was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on February 27, 1987, for its landscape architecture. Its grounds hold the graves of nine U.S. representatives and senators from Ohio, among them Benjamin Tappan, a U.S. senator and district judge, and Bezaleel Wells, who founded Steubenville and Canton.
