H.H. Everist House

The H.H. Everist House is a Prairie School residence in Sioux City that features strong horizontal lines, bands of windows, and decorative terra cotta details. The three-story structure has an irregular floor plan and is topped with broad, overhanging hipped roofs clad in tiles.

This residence was constructed between 1916 and 1917 by builder M.N. Hegg under the direction of architect William L. Steele. The property received National Register of Historic Places listing in 1983.
