Falls Mill, Historic mill in Franklin County, Tennessee

Falls Mill is a rural historic textile factory southwest of Belvidere, Tennessee, built in 1873 and now the Museum of Power and Industry at Falls Mill. Its exhibits fill the mill building, and the owners live beside it in a 19th-century building they moved to the site.

The facility originated in the 19th century and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972. This recognition reflected its importance in the region's early industrial development and agricultural processing systems.

Falls Mill is now the Museum of Power and Industry at Falls Mill, displaying antique machinery, mill stones, broom-making equipment, a printing press and a dog-powered butter churn. A weaving exhibit room holds hand looms, spinning wheels, 19th-century power looms and wool carding machines. The owners live on site in a 19th-century building they moved to the spot.
