Faber Towers, Twin tower skyscraper in Taman Desa, Malaysia.

Faber Towers comprises two 18-story office buildings joined by a retail platform spanning three levels, creating a unified complex in Taman Desa. Parking is distributed across three basement levels plus external spaces, accommodating approximately 700 vehicles total.

Construction began in 1985 and finished within one year, making it one of the earliest skyscrapers in Kuala Lumpur when it opened. This quick completion was notable for establishing a new standard in modern office design for the city.

The building includes a dedicated prayer room called a surau and sits near several local mosques, which reflects how Malaysian workplaces consider religious needs in their design.

The complex connects directly to major expressways, making it accessible by car from different parts of the city. The indoor spaces are generously proportioned, so visitors can navigate easily without feeling cramped.

The office floors in both towers feature an open design without interior support columns, allowing flexible layouts with spans reaching from 1,100 to 11,900 square feet per level. This structural approach was unusually advanced for a building completed in the mid-1980s.
