Mirador Roc del Quer

Mirador Roc del Quer is a scenic viewpoint in Canillo with a platform extending 12 meters over a cliff edge. It sits about 500 meters above the valley and offers an open view of the surrounding Pyrenean landscape.

The viewpoint received major upgrades in 2016 with the construction of a suspended walkway and glass floor sections. This work transformed the site into a modern destination for visitors.

A metal sculpture by Argentinian artist Miguel Ángel González stands at the platform's end, depicting a figure in contemplation. The artwork invites visitors to pause and observe the mountain landscape from this distinctive vantage point.

Access is via a 400-meter marked path from the parking area. Summer visitors should arrange reservations in advance and be prepared for seasonal opening times and entry requirements.

The platform features transparent glass sections in the floor, creating a direct vertical view down into the Valira d'Orient valley. This element creates an unusual sensation of height for those looking straight down.
