Puquios, Ancient water system in Peru
The Puquios are an old system of subterranean aqueducts near the city of Nazca, Peru.
Their origin is still a mystery as the Puquios were built by pre-Hispanic civilisations.
They are associated with the Nazca culture, known for their agricultural skills.
Today, some of the puquios still function and are used by locals for irrigation and domestic needs.
The exact method of construction of these aqueducts remains unknown.
