The Mall of the Emirates spans three floors containing 630 retail outlets, 100 restaurants, and 80 luxury stores across 223,000 square meters.
The project launched in October 2003 with an estimated cost of 218 million dollars and opened its doors to visitors on September 28, 2005.
The facility integrates Arabic and Mediterranean architectural elements throughout its design, created by American architectural firm F+A Architects.
Located at interchange four on Sheikh Zayed Road, the mall provides 900 parking spaces and connects directly to Kempinski and Sheraton hotels.
Ski Dubai within the mall features indoor ski slopes, snowboarding facilities, and a snow park, making it the first indoor winter sports venue in the Middle East.
