Wild Wadi Water Park, Water park in Jumeirah district, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Wild Wadi Water Park is an outdoor aquatic facility in the Jumeirah neighborhood of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, offering more than 30 slides and attractions across roughly five hectares next to the Burj Al Arab hotel. The complex connects swimming zones, artificial wave pools, and flow channels arranged around a central landscaped palm area.
The park opened in 1999 as one of the first major leisure projects in the Jumeirah area and expanded its offerings repeatedly in the following years. New slides and technical installations were added while the original Arabian theme was maintained.
The name refers to a river from Arabian tales, and the theming incorporates characters like Juha from traditional storytelling. Visitors notice ornaments and design elements that recall Middle Eastern legends and connect the different zones throughout the facility.
Visitors find lockers, changing facilities, and several dining spots distributed throughout the grounds. Trained supervision staff is stationed at every attraction for safety.
Some of the fastest slides in the Middle East are located here, with water reaching speeds around 80 km/h (50 mph). The facility also operates a large recycling system for all the circulating water.
