Saeed Al Maktoum House

Saeed Al Maktoum House is a historic residence in Al Shindagha with four separate wings built from coral stone and featuring wind towers throughout. The structure includes traditional wooden doors, covered courtyards, and rooms arranged around open-air spaces that allowed cooling breezes to circulate.

The building was constructed in 1896 as the home of Dubai ruler Saeed bin Maktoum Al Maktoum and served his family until 1958. It was later converted into a museum to preserve the family's legacy and the history of early Dubai.
