Saruq Al Hadid Archaeological Site

Saruq Al Hadid is an excavation site in Dubai's desert where thousands of metal artifacts, tools, weapons, and pottery pieces from ancient settlements were found. The location shows dense deposits from a period of intensive metalworking and is now presented through a museum that explains the objects and their origins.

The site was discovered in 2002 and shows traces of human activity from the Iron Age dating back to around 1000 BC. These early finds prove that the Arabian desert was once inhabited by organized communities with advanced techniques.

The artifacts reveal how people lived and worked here thousands of years ago, with tools and goods showing they traded with distant communities. You can see their skill, especially in metalworking, and this connects the site to a larger ancient world.
