Love Lake, Dubai

Love Lake is an artificial lake in the Al Marmoom Desert Conservation Reserve featuring two interconnected heart-shaped bodies of water surrounded by mesquite trees and desert plants. The site sits within the Al Qudra region and offers walking paths around the water for visitors to explore.

The lake was introduced to the public in 2018 when a member of Dubai's ruling family shared it on social media. This announcement quickly turned the location into a popular destination in the desert landscape.

Trees on the western shore are arranged to spell 'Love' when viewed from above, while pathways on the eastern side form embracing figures. This design makes the site a favorite spot for couples and people looking to capture romantic moments.

The site is about 30 kilometers from downtown Dubai and only accessible by car since no public transportation reaches this desert location. Visitors should bring plenty of water and sun protection as the area is fully exposed to desert conditions.

The water is home to Japanese goldfish and other colorful fish species that swim alongside native birds. This unexpected wildlife adds a quiet ecosystem to the desert setting.
