Love Lake, Dubai, Artificial lake in Al Marmoom Desert Conservation Reserve, United Arab Emirates
Love Lake consists of two interconnected heart-shaped bodies of water surrounded by mesquite trees and desert vegetation within the Al Qudra region.
The Dubai Crown Prince Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum introduced this recreational destination to the public through social media in November 2018.
The lake features trees arranged to spell 'Love' on its western shore and paths forming embracing figures on the eastern side.
Visitors need to drive 30 kilometers from downtown Dubai to reach the lake, as no public transportation serves this desert location.
The artificial lake houses Japanese orange fish and goldfish, which swim through its clear waters alongside native bird species.
