Ibn Battuta Mall

Ibn Battuta Mall is a large shopping and cinema center in Dubai featuring roughly 270 retail stores, restaurants, and cafés spread throughout the building. The complex includes a multiplex cinema with multiple screens and offers everything needed for shopping and entertainment in one location.

The shopping center opened in 2005 and was named after a 14th-century Moroccan traveler. The building honors this namesake through its architectural design and layout.

The interior is divided into six geographical zones that reflect the architecture of China, India, Persia, Egypt, Tunisia, and Al-Andalus. Visitors can walk through these different areas and notice how the materials, colors, and decorative details change to suggest each region.

The center is located next to Ibn Battuta Metro Station and is easily accessible by public transit or car. There are ample parking areas and multiple entrances that help visitors navigate the space quickly.

A cinema within the complex offers premium screening rooms with private lounges, personal service, and fully reclining seats with blankets and pillows. This luxury experience is a feature many visitors overlook.
