Jumeirah Bay, Skyscraper complex in Jumeirah Lake Towers, Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Jumeirah Bay is a complex of three skyscrapers in Jumeirah Lake Towers, Dubai, built alongside one of the project's four lakes. Jumeirah Bay X2 is the tallest, with 47 floors, and stands closest to the shoreline; X1 and X3 each have 41 floors and are set back from X2. All three were designed by the National Engineering Bureau and developed by Nakheel Properties. The photograph shows the concrete frame of one tower under construction, an even grid of open floor slabs in light grey concrete with two yellow cranes alongside.

Jumeirah Bay was developed by Nakheel Properties as part of the Jumeirah Lake Towers project, with all three towers designed by the National Engineering Bureau. The Indonesian Wikipedia entry states the towers were to be completed in 2009, the last of the buildings in the project. The photograph shows the concrete frame still exposed, with two yellow cranes on site.

The complex takes its name from Jumeirah Bay, the shoreline it faces, and stands beside one of the four lakes of Jumeirah Lake Towers. Look for the towers by their lake-side position rather than a street address.
