St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Jebel Ali is a large worship space with sections dedicated to the main sanctuary, parish events, and community programs. The building includes multiple halls for different activities and underground parking to accommodate visitors.

The church was inaugurated in 2001 and became the second Catholic parish in Dubai at that time. Its establishment reflected the growth of the Catholic community in the rapidly expanding city.

The parish draws residents of many nationalities from around the world, most of them expatriates living in Dubai. Its territory covers the Jebel Ali Free Zone, Al Quoz and Jebel Ali industrial areas, Jebel Ali Village, The Gardens and Jumeirah. The name Jebel Ali itself means 'Little Mountain', after the small desert hill where the original settlement stood.

The parish compound covers 50,000 square feet just off Sheikh Zayed Road, reachable from the Jebel Ali Village interchanges and from The Gardens or Ibn Battuta Mall. Basement parking holds 70 cars. The Padua Centre's 15 halls host catechesis and prayer meetings, so weekday activity is concentrated there rather than in the sanctuary.

The parish land covers 50,000 square feet and holds a single building in three parts: the church, the adjoining Assisi Parish Hall, and the Padua Centre with 15 halls for catechesis and prayer meetings. A residential area, an office and basement parking for 70 cars complete the plan.
