Tamanyan Street

Tamanyan Street is a pedestrian walkway in central Yerevan that links the Cascade complex to Moscow Street. Cafes, restaurants, and shops line both sides, creating an active social space throughout the day.

The street was created in the 1960s as central Yerevan developed after World War II. It was named in honor of the architect responsible for designing the city's modern layout in the 1920s.

The street hosts public artworks displayed along its length that shape how people move through the space. Walking here, you encounter sculptures that become natural gathering points for visitors and locals alike.

The path is flat and easy to walk, with plenty of space to move around comfortably. Seating areas in front of cafes provide spots to rest and watch the foot traffic.

A statue of the architect stands near where the street begins, placed there in the 1970s as a tribute. This monument marks a key spot between the famous Cascade complex and the busy downtown area.
