House Museum of Aram Khachaturyan, Music museum in Yerevan, Armenia.

The House Museum of Aram Khachaturyan occupies the single-storey mansion on Zarobyan Street that the Soviet Armenian government gave the composer in 1947, expanded by a two-storey building in the garden. Its facade carries five tall arches recalling a camerton. Inside are the preserved memorial house, ten exhibition halls, a library, a sound archive and a concert hall with a Bechstein grand piano.

The building was originally a residence where Khachaturyan stayed during his visits to Yerevan, and he had a direct hand in shaping its design. It opened as a museum in 1984, establishing this space as a lasting memorial to the composer's connection with the Armenian capital.

The museum keeps the composer's manuscripts, letters, piano and personal gifts, bequeathed in his will. Its concert hall, with a Bechstein grand piano, hosts classical performances, and the museum runs a violin restoration workshop and a publishing department. Since 2015 it has been a member of the International Association of Music Museums and Collections.

The museum is situated on Zarobyan Street and welcomes visitors with guided tours through its exhibition spaces during weekday hours. Plan enough time to explore the collections and potentially catch a chamber concert if one is scheduled during your visit.

A grand piano bearing the composer's own signature is part of the collection, creating a personal connection to the artist. This instrument was specifically purchased for a reception held in his honor in Brazil and represents the international recognition of his work.
