La Chascona

La Chascona is a hillside residence with curved walls and colorful rooms spread across three separate structures. The spaces feature maritime decorations and display personal possessions that give insight into how the inhabitants lived and worked.

The name comes from the reddish curly hair of the woman who lived here for many years, and a portrait by a renowned artist shows not only her face but hides another profile within the painted lines.
