Teatro Municipal del Cusco

The Teatro Municipal del Cusco is located on Meson de la Estrella street and features a facade sourced from the colonial-era San Andrés Hospital. The venue contains seating for approximately 771 people and functions as a performance space for concerts and cultural events.

The building was constructed in 1933 originally as a cinema called Cinema Italia and later converted to Cinema Teatro Colón. In 1992 it became the municipal theatre under management by the Regional Cultural Directorate.
