Barranco District

Barranco is a coastal district with colonial-era buildings, art venues, and dining establishments spread across its neighborhoods. The area features tree-lined streets, traditional architecture alongside contemporary spaces, and access points that lead down to the ocean.

A historic stairway pathway has connected the upper level to the beaches for more than a century and a half, making it an essential route for reaching the water. This engineering solution remains one of the district's most recognizable features for those who traverse it.
