Quito Astronomical Observatory

The Quito Astronomical Observatory is an observation tower in Parque La Alameda located at approximately 2,800 meters elevation in the mountain city. The building shows Victorian-style architecture with large arches and contains scientific instruments used mainly for studying the sun.
