The museum displays military artifacts and equipment in a restored fortress building located at the intersection of Alvarado and Plácida Pernici streets.
Built in 1888 as part of a defensive line of thirteen fortresses, this structure protected rural settlements from indigenous attacks in Buenos Aires province.
The museum exhibits General Daniel Cerri's sword and military sash, representing the Argentine military heritage and the territorial expansion period.
The museum opens Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 to 19:00, and weekends from 15:00 to 19:00, remaining closed on Mondays.
The building received national historic monument status in 1944 and provincial monument recognition in 1997 through Law 11918.
