Laguna Don Tomás

Laguna Don Tomás is a large recreational park built around a central lake surrounded by walking paths and green spaces. The grounds include sports facilities, boat rental services, and water recreation areas spread throughout the landscape.

The park was developed as a recreational space for the city of Santa Rosa and is connected to the Mason family, who founded the city. The grounds contain the former La Malvina estate, a historic house that now functions as a cultural center.

The park offers boat rentals for kayaking and water activities, along with fishing opportunities from March to August for those targeting species like pejerrey. Visit during warmer months when water conditions are pleasant and all facilities are fully operational.

A tourist train called Puelchito connects the city's central plaza to different areas around the lake. This small train makes it especially pleasant for children and visitors with limited mobility to explore the entire grounds.
