The Sierras de Ventania extends 195 kilometers through the Pampas ecosystem, featuring peaks that reach 1,239 meters at Cerro Tres Picos.

The mountain range contains several small towns, including Sierra de la Ventana, which developed around a railway station established in 1908.

La Ventana peak contains a natural rock formation with an opening measuring 9 meters wide and 11 meters high, leading to its designation as a Natural Monument.
