San Isidro

The city was established in 1706 when a captain built a chapel dedicated to San Isidro Labrador, which became the settlement's foundation. This religious center gradually evolved into a prosperous residential community over the following centuries.

The neo-Gothic cathedral anchors the center and serves as a gathering point for residents on weekends. Local artisans regularly display handcrafted items at markets surrounding the plaza, making it a hub for community interaction.
