Aduanas Building, Montevideo, Administrative building at Rambla 25 de Agosto de 1825, Montevideo, Uruguay.

The six-story Aduanas Building rises 38 meters with a central tower reaching 62 meters, topped by a glass dome in Art Deco style.

The structure, designed by architect Jorge Herrán following a 1922 public competition with 19 participants, opened its doors in 1931.

The National Customs Directorate headquarters represents architectural elements of the interwar period through its straight lines and geometric shapes.

The building contains 16 elevators connecting all six floors, serving both the National Customs Directorate and Navy Command offices.

Located within Montevideo's port precinct, this structure embodies the maritime activities and trade operations of Uruguay through its strategic position.
