The Cristo de la Concordia stands at 34.2 meters tall, constructed from steel and concrete, with arms spanning 32.87 meters across the Cochabamba valley.
Architects César and Wálter Terrazas Pardo designed this monumental statue, which began construction in 1987 and reached completion on November 20, 1994.
The statue's height includes 44 additional centimeters above the planned 33 meters, representing the traditional belief that Jesus lived slightly more than 33 years.
Visitors can reach the statue by climbing 1,250 steps from Avenida de las Heroínas or taking a cable car that costs approximately 12 bolivianos round trip.
The interior of the statue opens to the public on Sundays, allowing access to viewing platforms within its arms at an elevation of 2,840 meters.
