Mini Mundo

Mini Mundo is a miniature park in Gramado featuring over 150 detailed replicas of international landmarks spread across landscaped gardens and walking paths. The models are built at 1:24 scale and showcase architectural structures from around the world.

The park opened in 1983 and introduced Brazilian visitors to detailed miniature models of global architectural structures. This initiative made international architecture accessible to a wide public audience.

The exhibition shows Brazilian architecture alongside international structures, connecting local and global building styles. Visitors can see how different cultures shaped their buildings and monuments.

The park is best visited in good weather, as the models are spread outdoors and natural light helps you see details clearly. Multilingual signs in Portuguese, English, and Spanish provide information about each miniature along the walking routes.

Twenty-five specialized craftspeople work continuously to maintain the models and create new miniatures, using traditional techniques to preserve accurate architectural proportions. This labor-intensive work means each model is regularly inspected and refreshed to retain its level of detail.
