Dreamland Gramado, Wax museum in Gramado, Brazil

Dreamland Gramado is a wax museum housing around 100 life-size replicas of notable individuals in a large exhibition space in southern Brazil's mountain region. Each figure stands within its own scenic setting that represents the person's career or background.

Dreamland was a long-held project of its owners, Dreams Entertainment Group, and was the first wax museum in Brazil and Latin America. Since opening, its collection has grown to more than 100 figures arranged across twenty scenes, with the wax replica of Dilma Rousseff cited as the most recent addition to the Oval Office room.

The exhibits feature international personalities from cinema, music, and sports displayed within themed environments that reflect their worlds. Visitors can interact with the figures through photography, creating personal moments with familiar faces.

Dreamland sits on Avenida das Hortências, the main road linking Gramado and Canela, and opens daily from 8am to 7pm. Touching the wax figures is not allowed, and central air conditioning keeps the collection cool. Allow time to move through the twenty separate scenes.

The Oval Office replica holds wax figures of John F. Kennedy, Bill Clinton, Lula da Silva and Dilma Rousseff, whose statue is the newest in that room. Elsewhere, Johnny Depp's Jack Sparrow stands aboard a ship, and Elton John sits at a piano.
