Indaial

Indaial is a municipality in the Vale do Itajaí region, situated along the Itajaí River and spread across a large area of land. The city has grown into a residential and administrative center with various neighborhoods distributed throughout the region.

The region was originally inhabited by the Tapajós and Carijós peoples before European settlement began in the 1800s. The area became officially established as a municipality in 1934 after decades of growth and development.
