Igreja Matriz de São José is a Catholic church in central São José, Santa Catarina, Brazil. The current building was rebuilt after 1845 with funding from Emperor Dom Pedro II and Empress Teresa Cristina, following the tower's collapse in 1846. It was restored between 2009 and 2014.

The church began as a small chapel in 1755 and eventually expanded into a larger structure. Following the tower's collapse in 1846, the building was reconstructed with support from Emperor Dom Pedro II.
