The Concha Acústica features a shell-shaped design with concrete tiers arranged in a semicircle, creating natural sound amplification for performances.
The structure opened on May 1st, 1957, during Mayor Antonio Fernandes Sobrinho's administration after he encountered a similar design in Espírito Santo state.
The amphitheater serves as a central location for musical concerts, theater performances, poetry readings, and rap battles throughout the year.
Access to the venue requires prior authorization from the Municipal Transit and Urban Development Company, which can be reached at +55 43 3379-7900.
The structure received a 30-meter poetic banner by artist Danillo Villa displaying 'Eu te darei o céu meu bem' during its 64th anniversary.
